Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. Her most well-known character was as Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding supporting Performance on a a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and was awed by acting while attending the Preparatory School. In the late 1970s, the family moved to Ohio. She attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University. Anna performed in Chicago's theater for a number of years before attempting TV and movie roles. Anna was selected to portray Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. At the beginning of 1990, she was a frequent actor in both film and TV, such as Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years in Deadwood's second season. In 2008, she was picked as Skyler on Breaking Bad. She also starred in the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn was on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. The actress starred as Numbered Days, a four part audio podcast in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final ending mirrors the last seasons in the story of Walter White.
